Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Objective: Lead and drive the technological vision, innovation, and strategic technological development of the company, ensuring that technology solutions align with and support overall business objectives.
Strategic Technology Leadership:
- Develop and articulate a comprehensive long-term technology strategy
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can provide competitive advantages
- Create a technology roadmap that supports the company's growth and innovation goals
- Oversee the technological ecosystem, including infrastructure, development, and innovation platforms
- Establish and maintain the company's technological competitive edge in AI-powered CRM and automation solutions
Technical Architecture and Innovation:
- Design and maintain the overall technical architecture of the company's AI-powered solutions
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of all technological systems
- Lead research and development efforts for next-generation AI and automation technologies
- Establish technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement of existing technological products and services
Team Management and Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performance technology teams
- Recruit top technical talent and create a culture of innovation and excellence
- Implement effective team structures, career development paths, and performance management
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and collaborative innovation
- Develop and maintain a robust technical training and knowledge-sharing program
Product and Technical Strategy:
- Collaborate closely with CEO, COO, and product teams to align technology with business strategy
- Lead the technical vision for product development
- Oversee the development of AI-enhanced CRM and automation solutions
- Ensure technical feasibility and innovative approach to product development
- Manage technical debt and prioritize technological improvements
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure technological compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols
- Manage technological risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Oversee data privacy and protection measures
- Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting technology and AI solutions
Stakeholder and External Relations:
- Represent the company's technological capabilities to external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with technology partners, vendors, and potential strategic collaborators
- Participate in industry conferences, panels, and thought leadership opportunities
- Contribute to the company's technical reputation and brand positioning
Performance Metrics and Accountability:
- Define and track key technology performance indicators (KPIs)
- Measure innovation output, product development velocity, and technical team performance
- Ensure return on technological investments
- Report quarterly on technological achievements, challenges, and future roadmap
Daily Responsibilities:
- Review ongoing technology projects and provide strategic guidance
- Conduct daily check-ins with head of engineering and product development
- Monitor technological trends and competitive landscape
- Participate in executive leadership meetings
- Oversee critical technical decision-making processes
Continuous Learning and Development:
- Allocate minimum 4 hours per week to emerging technology research
- Attend and support team participation in relevant technical conferences and workshops
- Maintain personal expertise in AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and enterprise software technologies
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technological curiosity
